We breed and show Chinese Crested Dogs.  Why?   During our nearly 20 years with the breed, we have found them to be the most loving and interesting breed in the toy group.  They have personality plus and provide us with entertainment, companionship and a truly  rewarding canine experience. 

     The Crested experience starts with a lap full of puppies.  Romp with several cresteds in the grass  and  you will soon come to see why we love this breed.   Our home is always open for those interested in the breed to come to meet and get acquainted with our Chinese Crested dogs.  We do not always  have dogs to sell but this web site is updated frequently and the available dogs will be pictured.  We can send more photos if you are truly interested in a particular pup.  We are not a puppy mill, so you will never find large numbers of puppies available here.  At most, we may have 1-2 litters a year.  Some years, we do not breed at all. 

    At Tamoshire, we believe in quality, not quantity.  IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GET TO KNOW THE UNIQUE QUALITIES OF THIS BREED THAT, FOR SOME , IS LIFE-CHANGING , COME SPEND SOME TIME WITH OUR DOGS.  

OUR BREEDING PROGRAM

   We breed show dogs.  We carefully choose the dogs we breed. Sires and Dams are always AKC champions. In our breeding, we try to get sound dogs as close as possible to the published breed standard.  We do not breed for big or small dogs, we breed for the standard. Height is 11" to 13" at the withers and our pups are all colors. We get both hairless and powderpuff puppies.

   The dogs we sell are puppies who, for one reason or another, will not make good show dogs. They are healthy happy dogs that would make a better pet than a show dog. 

  We will not place a dog that has any medical problems. You are encouraged to have a dog that you get from us checked by the vet of your choice.

We  do  have  older dogs    available  now even though there imay be only one or two dogs shown as available. Please call us to seen if the non-listed dogs may be of interest to you 

OUR DOGS:
  Receive regular vet care, they are checked at birth & regularly thereafter.

  Are fed only the best food; Pro Plan and Pedigree.  No table scraps.

  Are well socialized and get plenty of exercise and time in the house.  They are not "kennel dogs".  They get plenty of love and affection.  

  Are available for adoption at about 12 weeks of age.

 We use a sales agreement for the protection of both parties and most especially the dog.  If you buy a dog from us and if life with the dog does not work out, we want the opportunity to take the dog back.
